Repairs

We have listed
the stages of work that we carry out
based around an accident damaged vehicle.
All our work from accident damage
through to custom bodywork will follow
all or some of these stages.
|
| We are not just another
'chain' dealer, we pride ourselves
in our work and guarantee your satisfaction.

|
Stage 1 Your vehicle requires repair and it comes in for estimate. We can also do approximate estimates over the phone if you describe the damage. Even better take some pictures and email them to us and our estimate can therefore be more accurate. If you require a 100% accurate price we can arrange to visit you (if local), or you can bring your vehicle to us.

|
Stage 2
If the accident is an Insurance Claim, the estimate will be faxed over to your Insurance Company, including your policy number to speed the process up. It is your choice where your vehicle is repaired and the insurer must meet all reasonable costs of the repair. Your insurance company engineer will arrange to either inspect the vehicle and agree figures with our bodyshop manager or agree figures over the telephone.

Stage 4

Stage
5 Vehicle goes into the low bake oven
spray booth where the car is re masked for
colour and the paint and lacquer are then
applied to the vehicle. Once the paint has
been applied the vehicle is baked for 40
minutes and then de-masked |
|
|
|
|
Stage
6
The vehicle is then quality checked over
and machine or hand polished. It is then
taken to the fitting shop where the parts
that were removed are refitted or replacement
parts fitted. |
|
|
|
|
Stage
7
The vehicle is then washed, vacuumed & valeted
and made ready for collection. If the repair
is an insurance claim, the customer will
be expected to pay the excess and sign a
collection note. The invoice will then be
sent to the Insurance Company less the excess
for payment. You can collect (or we can
deliver – if local), your fully repaired
vehicle. |
